Spinning the Web

I was to the 'Spinning the Web' event on Tuesday 5 July. A very large audience, one mad activist, good chair [though they should be endowed with electric baton to dissuade mad acticists] and a few interesting papers I thought.

[oh, and I was the one pressing the arrow key during Steve's presentation]

There are various accounts of what happened on the night, from Lynne Featherstone MP, Bill Thompson [ paper notes] [presentation] [voxpolitics post], Robin Grant, the BBC online,

Being in such good company, I'll be excused if I don't give my own account. But you can read Steve Ward and yours truly's contribution to the report, if you are interested [PDF]:

Make sure you read the full report, available from the Hansard Society website.
